LEGO 10335 The Endurance

Having physically followed Shakleton’s second journey to Antarctica back in 2005, I was very excited to grab this set when it was announced. My favorite build experience of all time had been the Lego Titanic and I was looking forward to building another ship, as well as remembering the history of the real object as I did so. This set did not disappoint. The build was fun and the end result is beautiful. Both sets are now displayed next to each other in my father-and-son Lego room. Having built several nautical set with my son, I’d have to say the Titanic is still the ultimate build, but this one came in second. Kudos to the designer and Lego team on this one.
